Holidays and Closings

The Daycare will be closed on the following paid holidays: New Year’s Day, Birthday of Martin Luther King, Jr., Washington’s Birthday,  Memorial Day, Juneteenth, Independence Day, Labor Day, Columbus Day, Veterans Day, Thanksgiving Day and Christmas Day.

Additional paid closings: Good Friday, Easter Monday and day after Thanksgiving.

Please note: Buenos Amigos Daycare will close at 12:30 p.m. on Christmas Eve and New Year’s Eve, if we are not closed for winter vacations.

In case of inclement weather, every effort will be made to contact Parents by phone. However, in the event that we are unable to, please follow the announcements made for Montgomery County Public Schools:

In extreme circumstances, Buenos Amigos Daycare may close early due to inclement weather or an emergency, at the discretion of the Director. Please call us before arriving at the program for specific opening and closing times.

If the program closes early, each family will be contacted by phone, text message or email.

Since the closing is product of an emergency due to weather or unsafe circumstances (security threats, bombings, pandemics or possible attacks) tuition fee will apply for the day.
